DAY of ATONEMENT – 1 October 2021 (The Fountain of Living Waters, End-Time Bridal Ministry)

 

YAHSHUA did NOT TAKE HOLD of FALLEN ANGELS to HELP THEM but TAKE HOLD of the FALLEN DESCENDANTS of ABRAHAM to HELP them and DELIVER them:

Heb. 2:16 “For, as we ALL KNOW, He, Messiah did NOT TAKE HOLD OF ANGELS, the FALLEN ANGELS, to GIVE THEM a helping and delivering hand, but He DID TAKE HOLD of the FALLEN DESCENDANTS of Abraham, to REACH OUT to them a HELPING and DELIVERING HAND.

 

:17 So it is evident that it was essential that He be made like His brethren in EVERY RESPECT, in ORDER that He might become a merciful sympathetic and faithful HIGH PRIEST in the THINGS RELATED to YAH, to MAKE ATONEMENT and PROPITIATION for the PEOPLE’S SIN.

 

:18 For because He Himself, in His humanity, has SUFFERED in being tempted, tested and tried, He is ABLE IMMEDIATELY to RUN to the CRY of  and ASSIST THOSE who are BEING TEMPTED and TESTED and TRIED, an who therefore are being exposed to suffering.”

 

THE SIXTH annual FEAST on YAHWEH’S CALENDAR:

Today is Yom Kippur … the Day of ATONEMENT (Zadokite Calendars) … an annual HOLY DAY on which ancient Israel …   made things right with Yahweh …   A DAY PROCLAIMED by YAHWEH Himself … one of the SPECIAL DAYS in His DIVINE BLUEPRINT of SALVATION.

 

IT IS ONE OF YAHWEH’S DAYS:

It is Yahweh’s SIXTH HOLY DAY of the SEVEN FEASTS or FEAST DAYS or FESTIVALS (APPOINTED TIMES) … HE PROCLAIMED as HIS DAYS in Leviticus 23. It is an EVERLASTING HOLY DAY.

 

ANCIENT ISRAEL:

It is also the day on which  the nation of Israel GATHERED TOGETHER  to CONFESS THEIR SINS – both INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATE – SEEKING FORGIVENESS (ATONEMENT) and RECONCILIATION with YAHWEH.

 

SPIRITUAL ISRAEL (ALL BELIEVERS):

For Abba’s own … spiritual Israel … all believers … it is a SPECIAL REMEMBRANCE DAY … a  SABBATH DAY … a DAY of FASTING AND PRAYER and INTIMACY with our Maker.

 

STEPPING INTO HIS PRESENCE:

The ONLY way that we could go INTO Abba’s PRESENCE … is AFTER REPENTANCE … NO SIN or SINFUL THING can COME into HIS PRESENCE.

 

A DAY of REMEMBRANCE:

Atonement is  a day of REMEMBRANCE … remembering our SAVIOR … the SACRIFICE Messiah MADE on OUR BEHALF on the hill of Golgotha … a special day to stand in the gap for  our loved-ones before our Maker … His DAY … a DAY WELL-PLEASING to Him.

 

Isaiah 30:15 “THIS is what the Sovereign Yah, the Holy One of Israel says: ‘In REPENTANCE AND REST is YOUR SALVATION, in QUIETNESS AND TRUST is YOUR STRENGTH …’.”

 

THIS DAY is ALL ABOUT:

CONFESSION (REPENTING) … TURNING AWAY from our SINS … SEEKING FORGIVENESS and RECONCILIATION with our Father.

 

Matt. 4:17 “From that time on Yahshua BEGAN to PREACH, ‘REPENT, for the kingdom of heaven has come near’.”

 

Luke 17:3 “So watch yourselves. ‘If you brother or sister sins against you, REBUKE them; and IF THEY REPENT, FORGIVE them’.”

 

Luke 24:46-48 “He told them, ‘This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the THIRD DAY, and REPENTANCE FOR the FORGIVENESS of SINS WILL BE PREACHED in HIS NAME to ALL NATIONS, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things’.”

Isaiah 30:15 “THIS is what the Sovereign Yah, the Holy One of Israel says: ‘In REPENTANCE AND REST is YOUR SALVATION, in QUIETNESS AND TRUST is YOUR STRENGTH …’.”

 

REPENTANCE  means “TO TURN” AWAY from SIN and “RETURN”  to our Father … the WAY of our Father … His WORD … HIS COMMANDS (commandments) … HIS TEACHINGS.

 

Matt. 3:8 “Produce fruit in KEEPING with REPENTANCE.”

 

ATONEMENT:

G2643  - “KATALLAGE” - RESTORATION  to the DIVINE – FAVOR – ATONEMENT – RECONCILE – RECONCILIATION.

 

In ancient Israel … Yom Kippur was the day that the HIGH PRIEST … ONCE A YEAR … COULD STEP BEYOND the VEIL into the HOLY OF HOLIES (TABERNACLE and LATER the TEMPLE) – a SACRED (HOLY) PLACE – a REPLICA of the very THRONE ROOM of Yahweh God - the PLACE where the PRESENCE of YAHWEH RESTED.

 

The HIGH PRIEST (ancient Israel – represented the people)

The HIGH PRIEST served as the MEDIATOR on behalf of the PEOPLE of ISRAEL … REPRESENTING the PEOPLE. After SACRIFICING a  GOAT as a SIN OFFERING … SPRINKLED its BLOOD on the Mercy Seat.

 

Heb. 9:22 “In fact, the LAW REQUIRES that NEARLY EVERYTHING be CLEANSED with BLOOD, and WITHOUT the SHEDDING of BLOOD there is NO FORGIVENESS.”

 

The HIGH PRIEST would … once he had sprinkled the blood of the goat on the Mercy Seat … making atonement for the peoples … laid his hands (outside) on another GOAT CONFESSING Israel’s SIN ONCE AGAIN. This was the “SCAPE GOAT” … then TAKEN OUTSIDE of TOWN and SET FREE in the WILDERNESS … symbolically carrying the sins of the peoples away with him.

 

MESSIAH our HIGH PRIEST:

Heb. 3:1 “So then brethren, CONSECRATED AND SET APART for YAH, who share in the HEAVENLY CALLING, thoughtfully and attentively CONSIDER YAHSHUA, the Apostle, and HIGH PRIEST Whom we CONFESSED as OURS when we EMBRACED the MESSIANIC FAITH.”

 

When Messiah Yahshua died on the tree … on that hill of Golgotha outside Jerusalem … HE BECAME the ONCE and for ALL SACRIFICE for all of MANKIND  … PAYING the PENALTY for our sins COMPLETELY. By doing so He REMOVED the BARRIER that SEPARATES us from YAHWEH. (Matt. 27:51 …”the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.”

 

John 1:29 “The next day he (John) saw Messiah Yahshua coming to him and said, ‘Behold, the Lamb of Yah Who takes away the sins of the world!’ “

 

1 Peter 1:19 “But you were PURCHASED with the PRECIOUS BLOOD of Messiah, like that of a sacrificial lamb without BLEMISH or SPOT.”

 

Because of Messiah’s blood that flowed for us … we have  access to the heavenly THRONE ROOM (the HOLY  of HOLIES)  … the THRONE ROOM of YAHWEH …  and  … we can ENTER INTO HIS PRESENCE … without FEAR or SHAME – IF  - OUR SINS have been FORGIVEN (after repentance) … OUR SINS have been   BLOTTED OUT, WASHED AWAY in the BLOOD of the LAMB.

 

O Abba .. thank You for Your HOLY DAYS … thank You for Your Son … the WAY … the LIGHT and LIFE. Thank You Yahshua for being the Way … the WAY to be RECONCILED with our Father. Through You … we are SAVED … YOU … ARE  … SALVATION … You have COME to CALL SINNERS to REPENTANCE (Luke 5:31-32).  O Yahweh, You say in Your Word … “In REPENTANCE AND REST is our SALVATION … in QUIETNESS and TRUST is our STRENGTH.” (Is. 30:15) … we take it and make it our own on this day of Atonement while we beg forgiveness of our sins.
